Luckily Microsoft makes this easy to manage by providing those officially supported updates directly from within the Teams Admin Center (TAC). The Teams client itself is not updated as an individual application so one only needs to be aware of the firmware releases provided by their phone manufacturer. So, instead of this new release being referred to simply as “Update #8” it is instead referred to as “2021 Update #1”.
